1. Participants must complete the entire course on foot, either by running or walking independently. The use of any motorized or wheeled transportation is strictly prohibited. Violators will be disqualified.
2. Participants must follow the marked course route throughout the race. Shortcuts are not allowed, and anyone found cutting the course will be disqualified.
3. The race bib must be worn on the front of the participant’s clothing and must remain clearly visible at all times. If the bib is lost, the participant’s race result will be void.
4. Participants must pass through all official checkpoints and aid stations in sequence (each aid station also serves as a checkpoint). Missing any checkpoint will result in disqualification and an invalid race result.
5. Trekking poles are prohibited on the Great Wall sections of the course. Participants must not carve or mark the wall and must not litter. Any violation will result in disqualification. Participants are required to follow cultural heritage protection regulations, practice responsible racing, and refrain from any behavior that may damage the Great Wall.
6. If a participant wishes to withdraw from the race, they must report to the nearest aid station/checkpoint to register their withdrawal or notify the race command center by phone (except in emergencies where medical staff assist the participant in leaving the course).
7. Participants arriving at an aid station or checkpoint after its closing time must withdraw from the race. If a participant refuses to stop and declines official collection, the Race Jury has the right to disqualify the participant and place them on the race’s banned list.
8. During the race, participants must carry all mandatory equipment required by the organizing committee. Random equipment checks may be conducted by staff. Participants found missing required equipment may be disqualified or required to withdraw from the race.
9. In the event of force majeure that prevents the race from proceeding as planned, the organizer reserves the right to modify the race route or schedule. The organizer retains the final right of interpretation for this event.
10. Transfer of race entries is strictly prohibited. If an entry is transferred and results in issues related to medical rescue, insurance claims, or other liabilities, the individuals involved will bear the legal responsibility. Once verified, both parties will be disqualified and placed on the race’s banned list.
1. Parts of the race course pass along the Great Wall. Participants must protect this cultural heritage site. Carving on the wall, littering, or any behavior that damages the monument is strictly prohibited. Any violations will be reported to the public security authorities and handled in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
2. Participants may consume food and beverages provided by the organizer at aid stations using their race bib. However, water bottles, cans, or cups from the aid stations may not be taken away.
3. The organizing committee will purchase insurance for each participant. If participants wish to increase the coverage or add additional insurance, they must arrange and pay for it themselves.
4. Participants should prioritize environmental protection during the race. Please respect the natural environment along the course: do not step on lawns, damage plants or trees, and do not litter. Participants are encouraged to carry their own trash bags and dispose of waste properly.
5. When passing through local villages, participants should behave politely and respectfully. Do not trample farmland or orchards, and do not disturb livestock or poultry belonging to local residents.
6. Participants are strictly prohibited from bringing fire sources into the mountains, and smoking is not allowed during the race. Anyone found violating this rule will be disqualified. Any resulting consequences will be handled by the relevant authorities according to law.
7. Due to protected sections of the Great Wall on the course, the use of trekking poles on the Great Wall is strictly prohibited.
